Things I’m looking at…
Sirius Satellite Radio: Yeah, I know I told Jones that this was dead money and a dog for a while, but with it’s recent plunge from $0.90 to $0.62 there may be some room for a snap back mini-rally to the 70’s. Not a bad return for a day or two.
Bank Atlantic: Not sure what’s direction this one’s headed in, but the price action was a little fucked up yesterday. Let’s see where she goes today. This could be a play either way.
Google 400 calls: Any new deal by the Congress would likely send Google back over 400. This one is too easy so I’ll wait until this afternoon to decide.
Now you may be wondering, “Hey Pickles, I thought you said the other day that you had $1,000 to play with?”. Well, I did until Jones and I went drinking last Friday. OK - I lasted all of 5 minutes without making a trade. Futures are up, Asian and European markets are coming back which makes me think a new deal is in the works in the US Congress. I placed my order for 1,400 shares of Sirius with a limit of $0.64 per share. Not sure if I’m going to get my fill, but who knows. Let’s put some lipstick on this pig and call it a dance!
